Fengtu(earthen mound,natural or artificial)is one of the important ground facilities for the tomb.It is not only a sign of tomb,but also is a unique cultural phenomenon in the era of civilization,reflecting the funeral rituals and culture.It is the important symbol of the identity of the owner of the tomb,and it is the epitome behind the deep level of the hierarchy and society.Today,the impact of this funeral customs still exists in some areas.The origin of the tombs is related to the many problems of the history and culture of the pre-Qin dynasty,and its formation is the result of the interaction of many factors.This article uses the archaeological materials and the evidence of national materials,combing the remains of the tomb of the development of the process of evolution,and to explore the evolution of this social and cultural background.The origin of the land is more related to the social process from slavery to feudalism.At the same time,before fengtu as the final sign of the tomb appears,there should be other kinds of signs exist,not limited to fengtu,these markers are in the origin stage of the burial of the tomb.This article intends to sort out the development and evolution of these markers,broaden the perspective to the surrounding areas and ethnic groups.This essay will take Jiangnan mound tomb as the main point of entry,analyze of the relationship between the two,trying to conduct systematic research of the origin of ancient Chinese tombs' fengtu.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction.Firstly,the subject and related concepts discussed in this paper are described and defined.Secondly,the purpose and significance of this paper,the research ideas and methods,the history and the present situation,and the innovation are described.The second part takes a brief view of the developmental process from grave markers to fengtu.On the basis of the previous archaeological data and related research,this paper studies and summarizes the general development and evolution of the tombs from grave markers to fengtu.Divided into different stages,and for each stage of development has been refined.In addition,we list and analyze the tombs and tombs of the different ethnic groups and different branches of the same ethnic groups to get the simple development and evolution process,which holds lessons for the study of Central Plains region.At the same time,this chapter not only focuses on the building on the tomb,but also concerned about the building and construction technology in the same period of time,and gives a reason of the appearance of grave makers.The third part will do a detailed discussion of different aspects of fengtu.:the time of fengtu's occurrence,the relationship among Jiangnan mound tomb,Chu tomb and the tomb of the Central Plains,and the reasons for fengtu's emergence.First,discuss the time of fenftu's emergence by combing all existing ideas to sort out the reason why the there are so many different pionts of view of the time of fengtu's emergence,largely because the unclear understanding of the relationship between Jiangnan mausoleum and the Central Plains tomb.Second,the Central Plains region to absorb and learned from the tomb of Jiangnan tomb and Chu tomb of the external shape of fengtu,as a basis for the transformation and sublimation,to give its cultural connotation,and ultimately the true meaning of the tombs were able to appear,which played a vital role in the cultural exchange between the two.Thirdly,the expression of the cultural connotation of the enclosure is described in more details.Fourthly,through the above research,we try to analyze the causes of the final appearance of the burial from the aspects of the natural environment,politics,economy,culture,communication,construction technology and so on.The fourth part introduces the form of fengtu.It is very important that one of the important forms of cultural introspection of the tombs is a very different form,but the expression of its name is more chaotic.Through the comparison of historical documents and archaeological materials,the author enumerates and defines the different forms of the fiefs.In addition,this chapter also introduces the tombs of the tombs in the ethnic areas,and the different forms of the Tibetan soil in the Tibetan era.The fifth part concludes.To summarize the previous text,deepen the understanding,focusing on the closure of the dynamic development is not only reflected in its own is the development of change,but also can be sealed and can be exchanged,learn and transformation.The paper explores the immobilized and stereotyped thinking,expends the perspectives and scope of research of the origin of fengtu,and attempts to advance the research process of the origin of the ancient Chinese fengtu.
