Analysis On John Roemer's General Theory Of Exploitation

John E.Roemer is an important scholar of the analysis of Marx and one of the representative figures of influence.Roemer is mainly devoted to exploring Marx's economic theory,especially the theory of exploitation by analytical philosophy.He has made a new proof of the exploitation of capitalism and the rationality of socialism,especially his research on the concept of exploitation based on private system,with the help of different analysis methods,the theory of exploitation in more general historical context,and thus presents a problem involving the exploitation of more general idea of exploitation.In view of the phenomenon of exploitation and political behavior still exists in the socialist countries,Roemer thought about exploitation of traditional analysis can not reasonably explain the Marx doctrine,he decided to find a new route through different from Marx's argument,the formation of what he called a "general theory of exploitation ".This idea can interpret the notion,of deprive,in any form,including the feudal society,capitalist society and socialist society.Through in-depth analysis of the existence of all social forms in the complex form of exploitation,put forward the "socially necessary exploitation" to explain the phenomenon of exploitation still exists in the contemporary socialist system,and on the basis of further exploitation theory revision and supplement had criticized the capitalist system of injustice,then the paper puts forward the solution to the ideal social form.Roemer's "general exploitation thought" is the important theoretical achievements of Marx theory analysis in the Anglo American popular 1970 s,although he has some misunderstanding on the Marx doctrine,his theory also has shortcomings,but his thought is not only the theory of exploitation in classic Marx's challenge,new thinking is a new perspective on this issue make,enrich our new understanding of the Marx doctrine,and thus worthy of attention and study.
