Shadow-puppet art as a living fossil of Chinese folk culture,has a long history and a broad general public base.However,the shadow-puppet art is influenced by the film,television,games and other new visual medias,leading to the shadow-puppet art is facing the dilemma of fading,in urgent need of protection and inheritance.Given the traditional art has been endowed with contemporary popular culture,make it adapt to market demand,and spread to people's daily life and entertainment,which is the best for the inheritance and development of shadow-puppet art.Web games as an important medium,with the advantage of small occupied space,low hardware requirements,grow with fast pace in recent years.People begin to think how to make the game characters further diversified.The shadow-puppet provides a traditional and novel elements.If the traditional shadow-puppet elements and web games combined,the art of shadow-puppet will meet the developmental needs of the Internet era.The present paper combined shadow-puppet and web game,based on MVC design model.The game script based on the "Pilgrimage To The West",selecting the classic story of beating White Bone demon for three times.The game player can act as chief characters in the "Pilgrimage To The West",such as Sun Wukong,Zhu Bajie,Sand monk,Tang Seng,and et al.,obtaining the experience of classic plot of "Pilgrimage To The West".The game combines the unique shadow-puppet play style of China,showing the characters,buildings and animals entirely in the form of shadow-puppet.The interface design of the game reflects the artistic conception of Chinese monochromes,thus the overall design of the game reflects the strong Chinese flavor.Using ActionScript3.0programming language,MVC was chosen as a suitable design pattern according to requirements.According to the requirement of three functional components of MVC model requirements,such as Mode,View,and Controller,the first step was the module was decomposed.Then applicable design patterns were chosen to design the corresponding class library according to the features of each module.Lastly,the detailed designs were conducted for each functional module of the shadow-puppet web games.Furthermore,the detailed function achieved,including resource management module,the game scene module,network communication module,chat system,trade union system,combat system,character system,mall module.This paper intending to design a shadow-puppet web game,is a role-playing game,in which the shadow-puppet figures full of Chinese cultural elements,action with unique charm,the battle scenes with fast-paced,and the abundant and colorful mall system,attracting the eyeball of game player.Additionally,virtual characters operated by game player can use special skills according to the system hints during the game battle scenes,which greatly increases the playability of the game.The game not only has advantage of a simple entry,convenient operation and high playability,but also achieve the function of web game,exemplified by the player can purchase the stage property and accessories in the virtual mall system,and game player can also make online smooth communication through the chat system,union system and dating system.
