Robert R.Livingston played a constructive role in the treaty during the negotiations as US Minister to France.while its unique classical republican ideology in promoting the negotiating process is particularly thought-provoking. By the research, this event not only clarify Contact Classical Republicanism and Livingston Diplomatic Thought and Strategy but also reflect the Founding Fathers in the diplomatic field of ideological origin, particularly in Bernard Bailyn and Gordon S.Wood and other "republican" classical scholars have proposed the republican tradition. This article will try to Livingston Perspective Study Louisiana purchase, using the international history of writing style, historical background of classical republicanism in the 17th and 18th centuries the Western world caused by liberal reforms as a foundation to build a historical context. It will draw as much raw data, around Louisiana later conduct a more in-depth study, re-affirm the historical role of Livingston. After the Louisiana purchase, Livingston diplomatic practice in later years of fruitful negotiations indirectly affected Jefferson, Jefferson prompted abandoned classical republican thought in "anti-modernity" of the composition, and thus contributed to the American march toward modernization of the road.
