The theme of virtue in classical style of writing in Qing Dynasty involves differentlevels and many fields of cultural connotations. There are3chapters in this study whichgives overall research and illustration on the theme of virtue in classical style of writing inQing Dynasty. The first chapter focusing on the works themselves, studies the femalefigures related to virtue, gives a deep analysis on figures of virtue and their contradictionand struggle in the heart, and discusses the virtue phenomenon among harlots, nuns andwomen of superrealism. The second chapter returns to the level of morality through puttingthe contradiction between holding on the virtue and getting married again and betweenholding on the virtue and displaying filial piety into moral dilemma, and discusses womenof virtue and the moral judgment of the writer from the perspective of social morality.From the perspective of the difference among literary styles the last chapter discusses thedifferent descriptions on the theme of virtue between classical and modern styles of writingand analyzes their different art of creation and receiving.
