Ben-Gurion was one of the main leaders of Zionism movement, the first and third prime minister of the State of Israel. Mamlakhtiyut was the core of his political thought, which Hebrew word "Mamlakhtiyut" was created by Ben-Gurion. On the origin, Mamlakhtiyut was influenced by the Messiah, nationalism, Zionism, and socialism. In the process of development, Mamlakhtiyut became mature with the change of Ben-Gurion's state sovereignty consciousness. On the political connotation, Mamlakhtiyut not only focused on the state apparatus and organization, but also paid attention to the citizen's political participation in political affairs. At the same time, it advocated political institutionalization and legalization. On the culture connotation, Mamlakhtiyut was trying to reshape the Jewish spirit, cultivate the sense of responsibility, and accords with the practice of modern society and the Jewish nation, it pursued to the diversified and open cultures. On the Social connotation, it emphasized the responsibility of the state of social management, advancing comprehensive secular development. After the founding in 1948, Ben-Gurion's government guiding by of Mamlakhtiyut achieved remarkable success in the fields of politics, economy, military and social comprehensive. There were failures in some ways, but Mamlakhtiyut have contributed to the construction and development of the state. In all, Mamlakhtiyut had a profound impact on Zionism, the state of Israel and the Arab-Israeli conflict.
