An Interpretation Of Feuerbach's Thought On The Essence Of Christianity

Feuerbach's book "The essence of Christianity "occupies an important position in the history of philosophy,changing Marx?Engel's thought,It plays an inportant role in the formation of Marx's scientific view of the world.But the research about this book is less.Based on the content of the book itself,deep insights into the essence,Iam trying to restore a true Feuerbach.This paper mainly interprets from three aspects of the book:the writing background,core thought and the book's theoretical significance and limitations.From the view of person,Feuerbach make the religious world to person themselves.Man is the starting point of religion.People's psychological needs,such as dependence,desire,self-interest,fantasy and imagination,is the cause of religion.Religion is the alienation of human nature.People put their own needs,will,ideals,beliefs and other independence,out of the existence of a single existence,that is,God.God,created by the people,not only did not bring happiness to mankind,but became the main body,in turn,the rule of slavery,the people themselves.God is the essence of human alienation.In order to eliminate the alienation,Feuerbach proposed the establishment of "religion of love",trying to be someone's love for God,into people's love for people,so as to realize human nature.The book revealed the secret of the Christian,break the Hegel's speculative philosophy which had dominated the world situation,reshaped the materialism of the authority and it piayed an important role in the transformation of Marx and Engels,it is an important source of Marxist philosophy.But because of Feuerbach don't understand practice meaning,many of his ideas also exist some limitations.Such as the concept of"class" in understanding of the abstract,the idealist conception of history,and some idealismwhich he proposed to solvereligious alienation.Feuerbach's unfinished problem,in the proletarian revolutionary Marx there has been resolved.Stand in the perspective of social reality,Marx is rooted in the material facts of economic relations,has realized transcendence of feuerbach's philosophy.
