Yan Zhenqing was the famous calligrapher in the flourishing period of Tang Dynasty. His calligraphy art had great influence on later generations and was praised as the second peak in the history of Chinese calligraphy. His calligraphy achievements were far behind. Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy has different characteristics and various styles in every period of his calligraphy career. His unique Yan style was a paradigm of later calligraphy learning. Yan Zhenqing ink copybook Zi Shu Gao Shen Tie was his late works, and had unprecedented influence on future generations. Predecessors had a difference of the words of praise about this copybook. And it was never ceased that the academic circles had different opinions on the discussion of the true or false calligraphy copybook. But it still cannot stop the enthusiasm of future generations to learn the copybook. And a strange study phenomenon in Chinese calligraphy was reflected on the Yan's the true or false calligraphy copybook. This paper focused on the scholars' analysis of the true or false calligraphy copybook of Yan Zhenqing's Zi Shu Gao Shen Tie, Yan's inscriptions and other references, was combined with the contents of the article of Yan Zhenqing's Zi Shu Gao Shen Tie, and set forth the impact of his copybook. As a copybook piece, Yan's Zi Shu Gao Shen Tie had more distinction with his other inscriptions of calligraphy works, and its ink traces was more intuitive reflection of the Yan style's use of the pen and drawing form.Zi Shu Gao Shen Tie was Yan's late works. It was not only his ink painting works of the textual research, but also reflected the calligraphy characteristics of the Yan style. And it was also the summary of Yan's calligraphy art in his whole life. In the history and the present, it never stopped the argument about the true or false of Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy copybook. It still couldn't withstand that the ancient and modern calligraphists love and sought after Yan's copybook. So 1 had some elaboration, analysis and discussion, using examples, references, enumerations, analogies and summaries of the similar phenomenon. This paper expounds the influence of the controversial copybook for calligraphy learners' tracing and actual creating. This was not only a reflection of the phenomenon of his copybook, but also showed the ancient and modern calligraphists loved the traditional classic, and the noble spirit was praised of deep excavating or learning the traditional art.
