“School of Zhejiang” was one of schools of painting formed by Dai Jin,Wu Wei and his fellows in China's Ming Dynasty,and its feature was promoted by people that time.Since the mid Ming Dynasty,however,last painters of school of Zhengjiang including Zhang Lu,Wang zhao,Jiang song were ridiculed as “the last follower” and “evil lore”.Through investigating widespread works,it can be found that works of Zhang Lu and his fellows were solemn and magnificent,with bold and vigorous painting skill as well as glittering and translucent ink.Their works had strong sense of motion,demonstrating solid skill and strength.On the basis of previous researches,the author implemented his own research on Zhang Lu including his death year,courtesy name,character relation and style.When it comes to discussing formulation of style,it'll be attached importance to investigating his own accomplishment,sponsor's aesthetic and influence of the Suzhou Painting School.Eventually,this case is contrasted with macro background,and influence of painting style is summarized.To sum up,the author aims at sorting out relevant issues of Zhang Lu's life,painting style and “School of Zhejiang”,expects to supplement content of previous researches,and makes diversified interpretation on his paintings.
