Relying on advanced information detection technology,technological archaeology has improved greatly whether detection range,depth,or precision.Archaeological geophysics also has got rapid development,has become one of the most potential research direction in archaeological investigation.But at present,there is a lack of necessary combination between archaeological methods,archaeological data and geophysical data.But now for the archaeological survey,due to the lack of necessary joint between different archaeological methods,also as the archaeological data and geophysical data,it is difficult to form a unified and integrated data center that is needed for providing data explanation for archaeological experts,which increases the difficulty of multi discipline integration of archaeology.There is an urgent need to develop a multidisciplinary data and information management platform based on archaeological investigation,to realize the different disciplines archaeological data storage,retrieval and visualization.Archaeology and related personnel can quickly extract relevant data through the platform.The platform also helps to improve the efficiency and accuracy of archaeological interpretation.The difficulty of a unified information management system development is that technological archaeology has many different detection methods which leads to the data get different data formats,at the same time,the data itself has a complex spatial attribute.All the reason makes the cost of data retrieve and sharing increasing caused by the difficulty of data management.Secondly,due to the limitations of the professional field,it is difficult for the researchers of different disciplines to quickly understand the archaeological information contained in the data of other disciplines.It is difficult to achieve rapid collaborative work because of the communication barriers.In addition,the detection method of technological archaeology comes more.the multi-sensor and multi array detection technology has become the mainstream,massive information storage has become a key problem that must be considered in the design of archaeological information management system.Due to the requirement analysis of the archaeological information management system,this paper puts forward a kind of platform for the visualization of archaeological data based on Web GIS-Geo Visualization.Through in-depth understanding of geophysical researchers as well as the demand of the archaeological experts,developed the archaeological detection data management,retrieval and visualization platform,which can effectively reduce the cost of archaeological data management and interpretation,improve the efficiency of data sharing,help archaeological experts to understand the detection data and improve the effect of interpretation,so as to promote the further communication and integration between archaeology and geophysics.
