Study On Cheng Hao's Yi-ology

As an Yi-ologist and a Neo-Confucian philosopher in Northern Song Dynasty,Cheng Hao studyed the interpretations of the 'Yi'based on a statement which said 'creative creativity is called Yi'from Yi zhuan(Commentaries on the Changes).Cheng Hao emphasized yuan,an important concept of Hexagram Qian.To interpret what Yi was and where Yi was,Cheng Hao took creative creativity as hermeneutic point of penetration to reveal Yi of reality:'Yi of vitality','Yi of life','Yi of human life','Yi of my life'.Attraction of all of them is heavenly principle.The heavenly principle has become human bings' humanity.Human could be aware of each of them is a subject which has subjectivity consciousness.People should comply with the heavenly principle,awe and protect universes to keeping all of lives which include plants,animals and human beings on the earth alive and vital by subjective undertaking.Cheng Hao told us that the Yi was not only in Book of Changes by revealing magnificence of 'vitality field','life field','human life field' and 'my life undertaking field' which founded on yin and yang creation field of Han Dynasty Yi-ology.Yi is in reality,lives,human life,my life.Yi is in the 'vitality field',the'life field',the 'human life field' and 'my life undertaking field'.He realized the transformation of the focal point of Yi-ology from heaven to human life.There are ten parts in this paper.The introduction of this paper briefly carries on achievements of previous academic research about Cheng Hao's academic ideology especially for his scholarship on the Changes,demonstrates significance and research methods and innovations of this paper,briefly describes Cheng Hao's life experiences.The first part of this paper demonstrates the hermeneutic approaches for the Book of Changes on 'Dao of yin and yang' and 'principle of life' after the Yi zhuan(Commentaries on the Changes)has been published.The second part of this paper demonstrates Cheng Hao's hermeneutic approaches for the Book of Changes.Yi is not only in the book,but also in the reality and the life undertaking of mine.The third part of this paper demonstrates the Yi which is in the book,First,state some previous people's basic opinions about the Book of Changes.Second,reveals connotations of the Yi in the Book of Changes under the vision of Cheng Hao.The forth part of this paper demonstrates the 'Yi of vitality'.Cheng Hao guide people into the filed of 'Yi of vitality'.At last,he revealed that vitality originated the heavenly principle.The fifth part of this paper demonstrates the 'Yi of life'.Cheng Hao guide people into the filed of 'Yi of life'.He revealed that lives on the earth originated the heavenly principle.All things under heaven are being prepared for themselves.The sixth part of this paper describes the relationship between the heavenly principle and the Ren(vitality and benevolence).The seventh part of this paper demonstrates the 'Yi of human life'.Cheng Hao guide people into the filed of 'Yi of human life'.On the one hand,human beings are in the world of Yi.On the other hand,the human beings envelop the world of Yi.The eighth part of this paper demonstrates the 'Yi of my life undertaking'.The heavenly principle has become the human nature and benevolence,people should be aware of subjective undertaking to achieve personality and life as fabulous as saints'personality and life.The last part of this paper concludes Cheng Hao's scholarship on the Changes.The Five Masters of Northern Song all revealed the transformation for life in Yi-ology which produced far-reaching effects.
