Study On Marx's Atheism Education In The First 17 Years Of New China

The party and country faces perplexing the domestic and international situation in the first 17 years of new China.In order to restore the national economy,consolidate the new regime,adhere to the people's democratic dictatorship and the socialist transformation,strengthen the socialist road,construct advanced socialist culture and realize the goal of socialist modernization,the country carried out an ideological education movement in nationwide,which is called the Marx doctrine of Atheism Education.The full text is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction includes the origin of the topic,research status,research methods,research innovation and deficiencies.The text consists of five chapters.The first chapter mainly talks about the rise of Marx's atheism education,which is divided into three parts: first,the meaning of theism,atheism,Marx's atheistic;second,the background of carrying out Marx's atheism education in politics,economics,culture and religion;third,the necessity of Marx's atheism education in Marx's theory,ideological and political education,and improving science and humanities literacy.In the second chapter,the author mainly talks about Marx's atheism taking Party members,cadres,workers,peasants,intellectuals and young students as education objects.In the third chapter,the author mainly talks about forms of education,which contain ideological and political courses of Marx,newspapers,magazines,radio,film and television,drama,and the atheist pamphlets.The fourth chapter mainly writes the content of Marx atheism education including inheritance of China atheism,critique of theism,propaganda of Marx materialism,criticism on idealist conception of history,insistence on the Marx doctrine of religion,implement the party's religious policy,advocating science,getting rid of superstition.The fifth chapter talks about the main achievements and deficiencies of Marx's Atheism Education.Achievements are to promote China atheism,rich Marx doctrine of atheism;establish correct world outlook,outlook on life and values;criticize feudal superstition,and improve the science and humanities literacy.However,the problems also exist.Atheism education is influenced by the "left" thought.Because of the difference of regional environment and knowledge structure,atheism propaganda and education becomes difficult,and the theological thought is not clearly eliminated.The last part is conclusion.With the Marx doctrine of atheism education,the guiding position of Marx thought has been strengthened.It also enriched Marx doctrine ideological system,set up the Marx's scientific view of the world,improved the quality of science and humanities of the Party and the masses,and promoted people's ideological emancipation.Whereas,we should also see that the atheism education movement is influenced by the historical and realistic factors,and the superstition of ghosts and gods is not completely eliminated.We should evaluate the situation objectively,and lessons should be learned from it.
