From The Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album To View Of Lin Shu's Painting Arts

Lin Shu not only a famous translator,educator,writer in modern chinese but also enjoys a good reputation for a painter.He as well as one of the leaders of the Beijing art circle that has an important influence on the art world,but was gradually forgotten by China painting history in 20 th Century.This paper taking Lin Shu's paintings--Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album which has four frame and drawing in his old age as the research object,from the paintings Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album to analysis itself and try to explain the deeply meaning in these paintings.This article through these paintings subjects and combined with the special historical period to discussed the artistic activities of Lin Shu and recognition his artistic position,then study the value and significance of his ideas.The preface was introduced the research status of the four Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album and combined the research methods and contents to expound the purpose,value and significance of this topic.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces the identity of Lin Shu as a painter,then introduces Lin Shu's painting Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album which draw in his later works.The second chapter is analysis the contents of the Bi Bing Silk Scroll Album,through the interpretation of the background,the picture's form,the poems was create by the author and the picture's artistic conception try to figure out Lin Shu's style of painting,art forms and ideas.In the last chapter research and discuss the Lin Shu's thoughts about art,the concept of painting was developed from his pictures and theory of painting,explore the art idea and thought of Lin Shu's in his social ideological trend in order to have a better understanding of Lin Shu.
