In the context of globalization,game culture as a new expression of the emerging literary form,is scattering in our society,especially the youth group.However,it is attracting more and more attention from scholars by it became a new cultural type.The foreign games are as a simple and effective way to get in touch with foreign cultures.The booming international market has promoted an increase of multi-language versions of games,which brings the need for localization and a higher standard for the quality of translation.However,there have been a lot of issues to deal with because of differences between the source language and target language.In game translation,cultural default will cause the loss of cultural significance and weaken the essence of game culture,and thereby be less entertaining and interesting for the consumers.This translation program studies the translation of the E-sports,aiming at the adaptation of cultural images through translation.In order to reduce the gap between the source language and target language and improve the comprehension of the players,this program puts forward different strategies for various situations.While doing the translation,the author also studied adaptation theory to give a solid support for his case analysis and other translating tactics involving omitting,adding,literal translation,liberal translation domestication,foreignization.Selecting this theme is out of devotion for E-sports culture,and it can also offer convenience for the people who like E-sports culture but get stuck on language in the games.This translation program was based on one of the author's translation practices during the period of postgraduate study at Jiangxi Normal University.The author utilizes his interests and passions to make the E-sports translation in a reasonable and accommodative direction.
