Since it came into being,the film has been incorporating the art of every other industry.In the 1980 s,the video game industry started to emerge.Video games and films have become the two most influential forms of mass entertainment and art.Especially the 21 st century,films adapted from video games have become a trend.Many excellent games have been adapted into films.This paper is divided into six sections.Chapter one is the introduction.It explains the research background and significance of the paper and systematically summarizes the present situation of domestic and foreign research.Chapter two analyzes the cross-media generation of the entire "Warcraft" IP,namely,collaborative narration,cooperative writing and cluster wisdom.In chapter three,through the narrative analysis of the adapted film Warcraft,narrative elements in the adaptation Warcraft are analyzed.And the video game is restored from the three aspects of plot,characters and narrative scenes.It analyzes the narrative technique of adaptation in the film Warcraft,including the change of narrative structure and the resetting of the narrative perspective.Analyze the continuation of narrative motif in the adaptation film Warcraft,including the "growth" line under the theme of the hero and the awareness of "home" with the pursuit of motif.In chapter four,the use of color and sound is analyzed from the audio-visual technique in the adapted film Warcraft.Chapter five is about the analysis of audience strategy of the adaptation Warcraft.By analyzing the composition,consumption pattern and consumption psychology of audience,it particularly analyzes why Warcraft has so many audience keen on consumption.In conclusion,based on what is said above,it summarizes some enlightenment that the film Warcraft gives to films adapted from video games.
