The Effect Of Signature On Malevolent Creativity

The anonymous feature of the Internet have brought these problems: network allegation,defamation,and pornography,false and fraudulent information which cannot be cleared.These are the negative effects of the Internet anonymity.Network real name system as the main way to manage the Internet have been valued.Malevolent creativity refers to the application of original ideas deliberately hurt others,usually by manipulating,threatening,or by injuring others to gain an unfair advantage.This study attempts to provide a theoretical support for the network real name system,by studying the impact of anonymity and signature on the follow-up behavior,and the different forms of signatures on the follow-up behavior.Also hope that is benefice to curb the network violence and the implementation of the network real name system.This study selected the Buss-Perry Attack Scale(1992),the reliability is 0.86,and the East China Normal University Hao Ning,who compiled the daily pattern of malevolent creativity,the reliability is 0.87,to control the differences between groups.In order to measure the malevolent creativity of the subjects,this study selected the negative situational tasks written by James(1999)and the multi-purpose task proposed by Lee and Dow(2011)to measure the level of malevolent creativity.Finally,the Torrance Creative Thinking Test(1966)is used to measure the divergent thinking of the subjects to explore whether the signature behavior affects the divergent thinking of the subjects while influencing the level of malevolent creativity level.There are three experiments.First,compare the difference between signature and anonymous behavior on malevolent creativity,results show that the signature behavior will significantly affect the fluency score of the malevolent creativity of the subjects.Compared with the anonymous group,the fluency score of the signature group is significantly reduced,that is,the signature group gives less malevolent solutions;Experiment two selected three forms of signatures such as name signature,pen name signature and student ID signature,and explored the difference effect on malevolent creativity.We found that: compared with the pen name group,name signature and student ID signature can significantly reduce the fluency of the subjects score,signatures and student ID signatures can significantly reduce the fluency of malevolent creativity,while the pen name signature will improve the fluency of creativity.Experiment two From the point of view of malevolent creativity,For further research,experiment three from the perspective of malevolent creativity point of view,That means subjects do not need give solutions to the negative situational tasks,Instead,choose the option that best suits their intent from the given solutions,to explore the influence of the three different signature forms like anonymity,name signature,and pen name signature on the choice of malevolent creativity,The results found that the name signature group chose more malevolent solutions,while the anonymous group and the pen name signature group chose more high-malware solutions.The results show that the name signature can effectively reduce the number of malevolent choice subjects,and tend to choose a more moderate way to solve the problem.To summarize three experimental results,this study concludes that: 1)The signature group successfully initiated self-identity,and ultimately affected the follow-up behavior.This may indicate that initiating a sense of self-identity will drive the subjects to change towards a pervasive social morality,such as choosing a more tolerant solution to the problem;2)the effect of the three signatures are different on the level of malevolent creativity;3)signature,and different forms of signature will not only affect the number of malevolent creative ideas generated,but also affect the subjective malevolent creativity point of view;4)the different forms of signature from the point choice to view out get a consistent conclusion,Indicating that the signature of the name can effectively curb the tendency of malevolent creativity.Visible signature form does affect the level of malevolent creativity.
