Deception as an unethical act has great social harm. The study of deception reveal the meaning of deception, also factors related to deception. As a whole new field of creativity research, malevolent creativity mainly focuses on the creativity of individuals who are driven by goals and are malevolent or harmful. It should be a close relationship between malevolent creativity and deception, but only some theoretical and qualitative researches are involved, and little empirical research aim to the relationship between these two. From the perspective of studying the influence of "malevolent creativity and deception",this study designed three experiments to reveal whether this influence exists or not,and what kind of influences exist.Study 1 initially explores the relationship between malevolent creativity and deceptive behavior. From the perspective of behavior,it is proved that higher malevolent creative people will have more deceptive behaviors in inducing deceptive tasks than lower malevolent creativity people.Study 2,from cognitive perspective, reveal that with high malevolent creativity, people are more adept at deception. And there are significant differences between behavioral indicators and ERP indicators compared to low malevolent creativity.Study 3 adds a new factor, the sense of rules, based on the first study.Discuss whether the sense of rules can affect the deceptive behavior of malevolent creators at different levels and achieve the purpose of suppressing deceptive behavior. Conclusion as below:(1)Higher malevolent creativity group participants,in the active deception task, the number of deceptions is significantly more than the lower malevolent creativity group participants, and in the active deception task, the deception frequency is also significantly higher than the lower malevolent creativity group.(2)The level of malevolent creativity of the participants at the high and low levels is face-to-face deception tasks that distinguish between passive deception, passive honesty, active deception, and active honesty.Judging from the indicators of reaction time,no matter whether it is a high malevolent creativity group or a low malevolent creativity group, the response time under active conditions must be significantly shorter than the passive condition, and the response time under fraud conditions and the response time under honest conditions are not significant.Differences: There is an interaction between active and passive conditions and honest deceptive conditions.Under deceptive conditions, active deception responds significantly less than passive deception, but there is no significant difference under other conditions.(3)For ERPs indicators, the MFN component appeared in the frontal lobe for 300-500 ms after the presentation. The amplitude of MFN induced by active response was significantly smaller than that of passive response;the amplitude of MFN induced by deception response was significantly less than that of honest response;the amplitude of MFN induced by malevolent creativity groups of different levels had no significant difference;the interaction between active and passive conditions and malevolent creativity groups was not Significant;the interaction between honest deceptive conditions and malevolent creativity groups is not significant;the interaction between active and passive conditions, honest deceptive conditions, and malevolent creativity groups are significant, and low malevolent creativity subjects are active, honest and deceptive Significant differences;Under passive conditions, there were significant differences between honesty and deceit, and deceptive responses induced more negative MFN volatility than honest responses;there was no significant difference in high malevolent creativity subjects under all conditions.(4)The CNV component appeared in the frontal lobe for 600-800 ms after the presentation. There was no significant difference between the volatility of CNV and passive response induced by active response;the amplitude of CNV induced by fraudulent response was not significantly different from the honest response;the interaction between active and passive conditions and malevolent creativity groups was not significant;active and passive conditions, honest deceptive conditions and malice The interactions between the creative groups were not significant;the interaction between the honest deceptive conditions and the malevolent creativity groups was significant. In the low malevolent creativity group, there was no significant difference between passive deception and passive honesty in the amplitude of CNV;in the high malevolent creation In the force group, passive deception and passive honesty have significant differences in the amplitude of CNV,and the passive deception condition induced CNV is significantly less than passive honesty condition.(5)There is no significant difference in the number of deceptive people and deceptive behaviors between those with high malevolent creativity who initiate a sense of rules and those with high levels of malevolent creativity who do not have a sense of rules;Compared with the subjects with low malevolent creativity in the control group who did not get the sense of rule, the number of deceptive people significantly decreased, and there was no significant difference in the number of deceptive behaviors.
