In today's world, the Internet has become an indispensable part of our daily lives. For example, social, scientific, shopping and so on.Therefore, the phenomenon of Internet addiction caused by improper or excessive use of network is ubiquitous increasingly, and seriously affect people's normal study, life and work. The research shows that the high incidence age of Internet addiction is between 20 and 30 years old.Exactly, the college students are in the phase of the age,and their daily life are inseparable from the network, such as data search, online video courses, online dating and online shopping,etc..The Internet has become an important way for the college students to learn, live and play. Therefore, whether there will be the phenomenon of Internet addiction among the college students as a special group.Whether for their learning or physical and mental health, this exploration are of great value.Emotional intelligence,as a kind of ability to perceive the emotional state of others or themselves and then adapt to the current environment.is closely related to Internet addiction. It has been found that there is a negative correlation between Internet addiction and emotional intelligence, and a positive correlation between emotional intelligence and social anxiety which may be a strong predictor of Internet addiction. So far, there has been little research on the relationship between trait anxiety and internet addiction.Trait anxiety as a individual character, whether it will directly lead to Internet addiction is still not clear. In addition, studies have shown that the college students show the attention bias to the negative vocabulary and network correlative informations. However, the attention mechanism for the negative emotions during the early processing phase is still not clear,if they has already"addicted" to the Internet. To explore the problems above, through three reseaeches respectively, this article has discussed the distribution of Internet addiction during the college students, the relationship between Internet addiction and trait anxiety, and the relationship between Internet addiction and emotional intelligence, and the arly attention processing for negative emotion. In the first study, the Young's Internet addiction scale and Online Game Addiction scale were used to investigate the distribution of college students' internet addiction. The results show that 32.2%for Internet addiction,7.4%for online game addiction,5.8%for both of Internet addiction and network game addiction. In the second study, emotional intelligence scale, trait anxiety scale, internet addiction scale and online game addiction scale were used to explore the relationship between the internet addiction and emotional intelligence and the relationship between the internet addiction and trait anxiety. The results showed that the emotional intelligence of Internet addicts was significantly higher than that of non-internet addicts, while the trait anxiety was not significantly different between them.Experiment 3 explored the attentional bias of online game addicts to the negative emotion faces by using dot-probe task. The results showed that online game addicts had showed a negative attentional bias, that is,when the probe stimuli apprared in the location as same as the former negative emotions,a faster reaction rate would be emerge, but would not in the neutral baseline condition. Therefore,in this paper,a total three conclusions:1)the Internet addiction rate of the college students was higher.2)the addictive college students had higher emotional intelligence, but less trait anxiety. Thus, the emotional intelligence and trait anxiety might not be the causes of Internet addiction.3)the college students of online game addiction showed a accelerated directed attention to negative emotion faces.
