In this paper,we use the "art of death " for a given context and the relationship between death and art as the starting point to research the death image of Chinese classical tragedy.Firstly,it presents the research status of the study on this subject in the field of art and aesthetics in recent years,and draws lessons from the existing research results at home and abroad,makes an analysis of the relationship between the key concept throughout the study such as "death","art" and "aesthetics",so as to make a theoretical presupposition for the subsequent study.Then it analyzes the artistic production of the death image in the Chinese classical tragedy.From the aspects of "artistic creation" and "aesthetic form",the artistic expression,artistic expression and aesthetic value and aesthetic experience of the death image of Chinese classical tragedy are presented,shows the "death state","death mood","post-mortem world" and the "magnificent" and "graceful" aesthetic experiences caused by these death images in detail.On this basis,we analyzed the works of the culture context which influence the creation of death image of Chinese classical tragedy : From the Chinese classical philosophy of death consciousness and the general public view of life these two different dimensions,reveals the Chinese classical tragedy death image creation of national culture psychological structure;Finally,this paper explains the revelation to contemporary Chinese art and modern life consciousness from the death image of classical Chinese tragedy: provide the value orientation for the production of modern art and enlighten people to face dearth bravely and live with freedom and noble.
