The sacred thought is the core of Eliade's whole thought system, and "Sacred "throughout his study of religion. The study about his sacred thought is the basic of studying his phenomenology of religion, history of religion and literature. The sacred of Eliade is not limited in the religion and out of daily life, but point that sacredness is not only refers to the holy God,gods and spirits of the faith, but also is an eternal and effective power,a kind of understanding of the truth, and it is the source of all consciousness in the world. The sacred thought and the crisis of modernity is full of the meaning of existence, and having the inner logic between them.At the same time,Eliade wants to express a contemporary concern by his thought of the sacred. The article mainly includes three aspects, and the first aspect is about the interpretation of the sacred thought of Eliade:sacred being, sacred phenomenon and sacred space-time,and the three part seems to be independent, but the content of each part is connected. As the precondition with the understanding about the sacred, and on this basis to concern a series phenomena of the sacred, which shows through the symbol in the profane space-time.The second aspect sets the sacred thought as the starting point to analyze the inner logicthe between the desacralization and problems of modernity, concluding that the emergence of modernity crisis is due to the sacred withdrawal and the excessive expansion of reason. The third aspect expresses the sacred vision of returning to life in order to realize the wonderful vision of "nostalgia in heaven",and points out if want to correctly understand the sacred thought of Eliade,we need to clear the relationship between sacred and religion, and the distinction between sacred and divine or holiness.Besides,we also need to correct the idea that sacred and reason repel each other.
