A Contrastive Study Of Compound Words In Japanese And Chinese

As everyone knows,from the history of heating conditioning,the action of'yaku" is the most primitive food cooking method since the fire was found.In addition,in the database the use rate of "yaku" and "shao" is higher than other cooking verbs.A word has its limitation in expressing things,so the page will study the compound words of"yaku" and "shao".From the view of Contrastive Linguistics to compare the formation and combination features from using compound words which found out from dictionary and database contains "yaku" and "shao".The words "yaku" and "shao" contain "heating food" and "burning"?The typical meaning of "shao" is more than "yaku".wIn terms of syntactic relations,both can make the noun which is related to food are used as objects.And when"photo album" and"songs "are the object of "yaku",it will mean "record".When "photo album" is the object of "shao",it will mean "burn",and "songs " can not be the object of "shao".In addition,from the words composed by "yaku" and "shao",we can know that"noun + yaku/shao","Verb +yaku/shao " "yaki/shao + verb","noun + yaki/shao","Verb +yaki/shao ","adjective + yaki/shao","yaki/shao+ noun","yaki/shao + verb" compound words are the same.But the "Adverb + yaki" compound nouns in Japanese is unique,and there are "Adjective + shao","Adverb + shao ","shao+ noun","shao+ adjective","shao + Adverb" compound words in Chinese.On the other hand,from the capacity of word-formation,we can see the ranking of "noun H+yaki" compound nouns,"yaki+ noun" compound nouns,"yaki+ verb" compound verbs inJapanese.Among the compound words of "yaku" in the capacity of word-formation the compound nouns is better than the compound verbs.Chinese is opposite to it,compound ver'bs is better than compound nouns,and when "shao"as antecedent word is better than it as the consequent.Among the compound nouns the combine of "shao"and noun is the best,and among the compound verbs the combine of "shao"and verb is the best.Finally,from the compound words of "yaku" and "shao" among the Semanticcombination we can know that not only "yaku",but also "shao"have the combination of coordinate,complement,centering between compound verbs,and both have the combination of coordinate,verb-object,adverbial-center between compound nouns.Above the compound words,"yaku" and "shao" are using the means of'use fire to make something can be eat" and "burn".The study will provide theoretical basis and new perspective for deeply research of"yaku" and "shao".In addition,through the study of "yaku" and "shao" and the compound words of "yaku" and "shao",Beginning to have some insight understanding of foreign culture.
