Intertemporal choice refers that people weigh the costs and benefits at different time points and then make a variety of judgments and choices.During the process of communication with others,the information got from various ways will have an influence on people's decision-making behavior.Intertemporal choice as a common phenomenon in real life will be influenced by information collected from various ways.Recent studies found that the information about others' trustworthiness got from a variety of ways(visual and auditory)will influence people's perception,thinking and decision-making behavior.Studies on the information of others' trustworthiness collected only through auditory channel showed that people would like to vote for the candidates whose voices have more trustworthiness because they have more competence,more powerful ability of execution decision and be more reliable.So what influence does others who have different trustworthy voices can make on intertemporal choice when they make a choice?This paper adopt time discounting paradigm,using two studies to explore the influence of others' who have different trustworthy voices on early individuals and adolescents' intertemporal choice when they make a choice respectively.Each study required the subjects to complete four tasks.In the first task,subjects are required to assess the degree of needing money based on the real situation currently to exclude the influence of the degree on the intertemporal choice task.In the second tasks,subjects are required to complete the intertemporal choice task.In the third tasks,subjects are required to complete the preferential intertemporal choice task made by others who have different trustworthy voices a week later.In the fourth tasks,subjects are required to assess the trustworthiness of the voices presented in the study to make sure that subjects who enter the study accept the trustworthiness of the voices.This paper found that the trustworthiness of others' voices have an influence on early individuals and adolescents' intertemporal decision and there is a consistency between early individuals or adolescents and others whose voices have the high trustworthiness whether others whose voices have the high trustworthiness choice the instant awards or the delayed awards.
