Theory On SuShi's Change Of "Qi Liu Gui Tao"

Since the new century,the research on the history of literary acceptance had become a hot topic in the field of ancient literature,and the study of classic writers is a top priority.As classic writers in the field of poems,research on Liu Zong-yuan and Tao Yuan-mings' literary acceptance had afforded a magnificent view now.As the same first-reader of Liu Zong-yuan and Tao Yuan-mings' poems,Su Shi had catched a lot of peoples' eyes.Currently,though there are many researchs on Su Shi's study of Liu Zong-yuan andd Tao Yuan-ming,there are still not enough careness.This paper is in order to describe the process and meaning of Su Shi's literary acceptance of Liu Zong-yuan's poems and the reason of 'Qi Liu Gui Tao'.This paper has three chapters.The first chapter mainly analyzes the general condition in Su Shi's literary acceptance of Liu Zong-yuan and his poems.Su Shi had two totaly different comments of Liu Zong-yuan : one is positive,he had a very praise in Liu Zong-yuan's poems;the other one is negative,he had critistics in Liu Zong-yuan's political career philosophical thought and personal morality.Why Su Shi had such comments ? On the surface it's because on the one hand,“Yongzhen reform” had not solid foundation,Liu Zong-yuan was identified as a conspirators after the reform's failure,and Song dynasty people strongly had a concept of legitimacy;on the other hand,Liu Zong-yuan had a high literary achievements.But it was Su Shi who firstly discovered the value of Liu Zong-yuan's poems,this is because poetry in Song Dynasty formed the ultimate aesthetic ideal : " Ping Dan ",and it's Su Shi who finally established this standard.Using time as links,the second chapter of this paper has a detailed study on the process of Su Shi's acceptance of Liu Zong-yuan's poems.The process can be divided into four periods : before 1079 A.D.;1079 A.D.to 1087 A.D.;1088 A.D.to 1093 A.D.;1094 A.D.to the year when Su Shi died.In these periods,the secong and the forth are the high-tide periods in Su Shi's acceptance of Liu Zong-yuan's poems,the first and the third are the low-tide periods.Meanwhile the secong and the forth are the low-tide periods in Su Shi's political career,the first and the third are the high-tide periods.This is a obvious contrast that embodies the importance of Liu Zong-yuan's poems to Su Shi,who suffered a lot.In Song Dynasty,the party supported political reform had persecuted Su Shi,so Su Shi could not unedrstand Liu Zong-yuan who supported political reform too.But after Su Shi's disgrace,he had sympathy with understand to Liu Zong-yuan,the consciousness of resistance in Liu Zong-yuan's poems became Su Shi's spiritual pillar,the "Ping Dan " in Liu Zong-yuan's poems could also comfort Su Shi's heartpain.The third chapter of this paper mainly analyzes the reason of Su Shi's "Qi Liu Gui Tao"."Qi Liu Gui Tao" refers to the phenomenon that Su Shi's acceptance of Tao Yuan-ming's poems and Liu Zong-yuan's was by and large conducted at the same time.But marked by "He Tao Shi"(Poems in reply to Tao Yuan-ming),Su Shi finally chose Tao Yuan-ming's poems to be paragon,and chose Tao Yuan-ming to be his paragon of life,but not Liu Zong-yuan.Firstly,it's because Su Shi gradually exterminated his thought that go into the society,while Liu Zong-yuan always go the distance,and Tao Yuan-ming thoroughly lived a sequestered life.Secondly,it's because Su Shi's attitude towards the value of life was more and more close to Tao Yuan-ming —— culturally obedience and let nature take its course,which is differenct from Liu Zong-yuan.Based on this consensus,Su Shi deliberately highlight the stoic side of Tao Yuan-ming's personality,and ignored the complex side,thus finished the refactoring of Tao Yuan-ming's character image.
