Research Of Buddhism Documents Of Goryeo Yi Tian

Yi Tian(义天),the Da Jue State Master(大觉国师),is one of the two most important Buddhism person of Goryeo Age.In China,researchers tend to place emphasis on Yi Tian’s experiences and communications during his journey in Song Dynasty,but pay less attention on the his Buddhism documents.This paper concentrates on the posthumous works of Yi Tian,and try to find his contribution on Buddhism documents.In the first part "research",I remade the Yi Tian’s chronicle.First of all,I summarized the documents which are utilized:I used the three last finding tablet inscriptions is the main part,and attached the articles with writing time of "Da Jue State Master Collected work"(《大觉国师文集》)to the chronicle.Then I supplied the texts about "book communication" from different books,then studied the contradict materials.On the basis of the works above,I made a correct chronicle of Yi Tian."Yuan Zong Wen Lei"《圆宗文类》),one of the posthumous works of Yi Tian,is a significant selected work.I studies a lot on this book in this paper,such as ascertaining the writing process of the book,studying the stylistic rules and layout and demonstrating the influence of the book in Asia.For the document part,I studies every words of the first volume of "Yuan Zong Wen Lei",because this volume is very valuable for it cannot be seen in "Hankuk Bulgyojonso"(《韩国佛教全书》)and "Tripitaka"(《大藏经》).The first volume has was not utilized by researchers,the tremendous edition value of it may be higher than some lost articles of Buddhist scriptures of dunhuang mss.The 21st volume from Kanazawa Bunko and the North Song edition "Xi Hu Jie Lian She Ji"(《西湖结莲社集》)was also utilized during the writing of this paper.Then I studied the 22nd volume,examined and corrected the whole document in the general.In the part of "Yi Tian and Sequel Tripitaka《续藏经》)",I investigated the layout and block cutting of Sequel Tripitaka by utilizing the book "Research on Sequel Tripitaka Koreana’s cutting and printing"(《高丽续藏雕造考》)of Oya Tokujo(大屋德城)and so on,summarized the spreading of Sequel Tripitaka Koreana in different countries."Newly Organized Zhu Zong Jiao Zang catalog"(《新编诸宗教藏总录》)is the blueprint of Yi Tian to cut and print the Tripitaka,it shows the works of Yi Tian in China and Japan to collect Buddhist texts.I basically studies the editions and records of this book in this paper.The second part is proofreading.It is mainly about the first volume of "Yuan Zong Wen Lei" and 5th volume(remaining volume)of "Shi Yuan Ci Lin"(《释苑词林》).The 5th volume of "Shi Yuan Ci Lin"includes Yan Shu(晏殊),Yang Yi(杨亿)and other litterateurs’ 10 articles,Professor Chen Shangjun(陈尚君)has written a paper about this.I also found some new problems by proofreading it with other books,for example,the "The tablet inscription of Song Tian Tai Shan Jing Guang Master"(《宋天台山净光大师碑》)of Qian Yi(钱易),comparing to the article of "Luo Xi Zhen Zu Ji"(《螺溪振祖集》),the article in "Shi Yuan Ci Lin" has more sentences,and there are also different characters between the two editions.It seems that the edition of this article in "Shi Yuan Ci Lin" is the original one with out modification.
