Research On The Relationship Among Sense Of Life Meaning,Family Resilience And Sense Of Security Of Left-home Children

With the transformation of our society,more and more rural adults chose to work far from hometown.Lots of Left-home Children has been appearing in China.In May 2013 on the basis of the All-China Women's Federation,the number of Left-home Children(LHC)all over China has exceeded 61 million by the end of 2012.The education and mental health problems of vulnerable groups have been attracting by many scholars.A large number of scholars have reported that there are a series of psychological and behavioral problems in the LHC because of their special environment and age.The scholar has investigated LHC's casualties during 10 years from 2006 to2015,there are 239 casualties in total.The high incidence of casualties after 2010,just 5years there have been happened 206 casualties.It is of great significance to study the sense of life meaning and sense of security of LHC.LHC have been defined that one or both of whose parents have moved to city for at least six mouths to work.children aged from 1 to 16.in order to investigate the sense of life meaning of LHC,we selected the LHC come from Sichuan Province and Anhui Province.Grade 3 to grade 8,aged from 8 years to 15 years.it adopts the security questionnaire,the purpose in life test and family resilience scale.The purpose of this study is to understand the status of LHC's sense of life meaning and sense of security,in the same time,to explore the relationship among the sense of life meaning,sense of security and family resilience.About the sense of life meaning of left-home children.interview objects consist of 8 left students,4 teachers and 2 principals.Analysis of data by SPSS19.0 and AMOS17.0.Analysis results show:1.left behind children have a lower sense of life meaning,Especially in the three dimensions enthusiasm of life,life goals and positivity.2.children left behind or not have an important impact on children's sense of themeaning of life.3.left-behind children's sense of security,sense of life meaning and family resilience remarkable relevance have been discovered among the variables through correlation analysis.4.sense of security can have a direct impact on the sense of life meaning,it can also be through family resilience has an indirect effect on the sense of life meaning.Family resilience plays an intermediary role between the sense of security and the sense of life meaning,the model accounted for 23.3%.5.the gender,first left ages,left times of left-home children had a slight influence on the sense of life meaning,but there are significant differences on the sense of life meaning in the parents go out type,contact frequency,caregivers on the degree of education.The left-behind children's sense of life meaning would being the lowest if their mother far from home.The higher the frequency of contact with parents,the higher the sense of life meaning.The higher the education level of caregivers,the higher the sense of life meaning.6.the sense of interpersonal security of the left-home children can significantly predict the sense of life meaning,and the family beliefs of left-home children play a partial mediating role between interpersonal security and life meaning.7.the sense of interpersonal security of the non left-home children can significantly predict the sense of life meaning,in the same time,Intimate harmony/coordinated cooperation of the non left-home children play a partial mediating role between interpersonal security and life meaning.
