Figure painting in Ming dynasty,though not as prosperous landscape,flowers and birds painting,but in the long development,accumulated a large number of precious wealth and experience,the creation and development of the modern figure painting has certain reference significance.The development of painting,and the time of the social environment has the close relation,especially attaches great importance to by the ruling class of figure painting.The rise and fall of the Ming dynasty and the three stages of development and change of figure painting of the Ming dynasty basic corresponding to each other.By studying the characteristics of each stage,to find their commonness,thus come to the conclusion that the artistic characteristics of figure painting of the Ming dynasty.Early Ming court figure painting show a distinct imperial art nature,this performance than the generation of more intense,and reveal more folk art characteristics.“Zhe painting” figure painting with rich flavor of life,style exquisitely precise with bold and unrestrained rigid temperament;In the middle of Ming dynasty figure painter mostly affected by the literati paintings;Painting style both “The palace art academies style” neat and precise,and entered into the pen and ink interest of literati paintings,presents a kind of fusion style;When the late Ming dynasty style of figure painting presents the deformation and the realistic tendency of polarization,The first with Ding Yunpeng and the way of the Wu Bin made interpretation of the painting and deformation of“south Chen north Cui” painting style is given priority to,the latter to Zeng Jing and its realistic portrait “Bo Chen painting” give priority to.In general,the figure painting in Ming dynasty from the form,eachperiod of the figure painting presents the different style characteristic,But in the context of content,presents two characteristics,the first can be summed up a “common” words,the“common” not vulgar,but folk and popular secular,is a kind of life,the aesthetic orientation of common;The second characteristic is the tendency of figure painting presents the landscape paintings of people,many of the figure painting in the background of proportion in contrast to the much larger figure painting,but it is different from the general point of view of landscape painting figures,characters more meticulous,has the characteristics of figure painting.Although figure painting shows a tendency of decline in the Ming dynasty,but it's in Chinese figure painting history play a important role,which forms a connecting link between the preceding and has an important influence on the development of figure painting in the Qing dynasty,also has also has certain reference significance for present.
