Clay sculpture art is an ancient and universal form of folk art,it to the soil as raw material,kneaded by hand or using the mold forming method,color selection is divided into two kinds,one is the original soil color,the other is a variety of colors,is the main theme of people and animals."Nigugu "is a collective name of the mud whistle toy called by the rank and file of Xun County,Henan Province.Because this kind of toy can make a sound of "coo" when whistling,people call it "Nigugu",which is defined exactly as painted clay sculpture.Nigugu is a kind of clay sculpture toys,more precisely defined as clay painting,its origin can not be separated from the clay sculpture art and the influence of the original customs.This article mainly aims at the Henan Xun County "Nigugu" artistic characteristic and the vicissitude present situation and the inheritance and the development carries on the research.With the change rapidly social change,new folk life constantly for nigugu to add new content,how to inherit the traditional premise,in a timely manner with the modern aesthetic elements,the nigugu can be developed,has become an important problem we have to face and responsibility.This paper will be divided into the following sections:the first part,introduction.This section discusses the purpose and significance of this topic,research status and research methods and the feasibility of the research;The second part,summary of"Nigugu" of Xun County,Henan Province.Through summary of Xun County area and analysis research of natural environment and cultural environment of "Nigugu" area,we can understand and master formation origin and development course of "Nigugu"to comb and summarize historic origin of "Nigugu".the third part,the production technique of Xun County nigugu.Respectively,from the production of materials and tools,production skills and craftsmanship,making process,four aspects described,summarized the production technique of Xun County nigugu;The fourth part,the artistic feature of "Nigugu" of Xun County.Through practical investigation and record and comprehension of modeling feature,color expression,theme orientation of "Nigugu",we can conclude artistic feature of "Nigugu".The fifth part,contemporary changes,inheritance and protection of "Nigugu".Through analysis and research of development status and changes of "Nigugu",we promote the inheritance and protection of "Nigugu".The sixth part,epilogue.The expectation of development and innovation of "Nigugu".I hope that through this paper,mining production techniques and artistic features of Xun County nigugu show ingenuity,and through the case of nigugu contemporary change research,tries to reveal its in modern social environment for the survival and development status.In this paper,the theoretical part of the thesis is formed by the combination of oral history,image data and literature data.
