Folk beliefs and folklore art is an organic part of the local culture,both in the folk is based on the temples to the same strain and together constitute a local cultural ecology.Around this topic,this article takes the Hengshan County in Northern Shaanxi Province as the local background,and inspects the cultural space of Black Dragon Temple of Tai Longshan is studied in the context of local culture tradition and modern change.Depicting the villagers in their daily lives around the temple for the praying activities and artistic activities.The folk beliefs and folk arts and culture are taken care of from the perspectives and methods of the comprehensive study of folklore and art theories.This paper try to explore the internal relationship between the folk beliefs and folk arts,as well as their generation,function,development,change and so on in the local culture.In the course of concrete research,this article uses for reference from the three theoretical categories of the idea,the behavior,the material,and makes a deep description of the local culture reflected by the Black Dragon Temple of Tai Longshan.To make an empirical study on the implementation of starting from the case of "the small as big " strategy.According to the article,folk beliefs are closely related to the folk custom in the production and life of the villagers.The article thinks that the folk art activities in the Tai Longshan Black Dragon Temple are always accompanied by the Faith ritual activities.It is inseparable from the unique cultural atmosphere of folk beliefs,and rely on rituals to be inherited and strengthened.The folk beliefs and folklore art in Black Dragon Temple of Tai Longshan still retains the ancient sacrificial rites and the activities of exorcise,which are the remnants of primitive culture.In the background of the collision between tradition and modernity the local culture changes,this belief and art in the inheritance,development,changes in the process of facing the plight and the relevant protection measures are urgent need to pay attention to the problem.Although the topic is a case study of the Longshan Black Dragon Temple,but the folk belief and folk art and culture phenomenon in the Black Dragon Temple of Tai Longshan can be regarded as a microcosm of the local culture.Therefore,this study can provide some enlightenment and reference for the study of similar temple culture.
