A Study On Variations And Fugue On A Theme By Handel

Johannes Brahms(1833-1897)is the last composer of German classicism in the nineteenth Century,and also the leader of music in Vienna.In music creation,he is a person who has both tradition and innovation.For his "Handel theme variations and fugue"(Op.24)research,both at home and abroad are in a relatively scarce situation.This paper uses literature research method,comparative analysis method and experience summary method,case study method,literature research,analysis from the music,music interpretation,performance version compared with the performance analysis of the teaching value,refining and suggestions of Brahms' s "variations on a theme of Handel and fugue" is analyzed comprehensively."The classic theme of Handel variations and fugue" is Brahms' s piano solo in a song,it also insight from composer's creative style and basic character,thinking better performance and teaching direction,so as to further inspire the new century piano teaching and music teaching.
