Hulun Buir Mongolian belongs to the Barhu-Buriyad dialect(also known as northeast dialect).Based on the previous studies,this thesis makes use of the survey data of 250 words and 100 grammatical questions in the outline of the "Dialect Map of Mongolian" through applying the methods of comparison,description and linguistic geography to carry out the investigation into the characteristics of the speech and grammar of the Mongolian dialect in Hulun Buir city as well as its present situation and its distinction from the Mongolian written language.This thesis consists of four parts:introduction,first chapter,second chapter and conclusion.The first part is the general introduction to Hulun Buir city,purpose and significance of the present topic,literature review of the linguistic geography,and research methodology as well as materials.The first chapter is composed of two parts:survey data and analysis data.This chapter analyzes 250 word data in the table,by employing the comparative study of vowels and consonants in Hulun Buir City with the Mongolian written language,to reveal the characteristics and distribution of phonetic aspects of the Mongolian dialect in Hulun Buir City.The second chapter is made up of two parts:grammatical phenomena,personal pronouns and case variations of demonstrative pronouns,which attempts to analyze some grammatical phenomena in Mongolian dialect in Hulun Buir City in the way of forms and questionnaires.The conclusion part summarizes the contents of the thesis.
