Shaanxi merchants had a great development in Ming dynasty.They relied on natural resources and economic policy such as KaiZhong developing rapidly,many of them went to Yangzhou managing salt.Shaanxi and Shanxi merchants are called "the west merchants".In the transition of Ming and Qing dynasty,Shaanxi salt merchants protected the Yangzhou with the yangzhou people;Also for yangzhou’s economic recovery after the war.This paper focused on these salt merchants about cultural communities,cultural mentality and their literature trend to show their significance in literary history,and to explore the interaction between LiuYu literature and local literature.This article is divided into four chapters:The first chapter is to study the salt law of Ming dynasty under the institutional change of salt merchants group’s liquidity and its literariness.First of all,I summarized the salt law related to the shaanxi merchants in the Ming dynasty.On this basis,I counted shaanxi salt merchants literati and sums up the characteristics from the Angle of literature.The second chapter is to explore the Shaanxi salt merchants about their interpersonal relationships.They almost included more than half a yangzhou culture between Ming and early Qing dynasty.This chapter is about the migration,officials,countrymen,merchants and business’s relations.I compiled their literary activities.The third chapter taking LeiShijun SunZhiwei and ZhangXun as example,I analyzed the Shaanxi salt merchants’ mentality about Official and seclusion between Ming and Qing dynasty.The fourth chapter is about their literature trend and writing features including three parts:poetic characteristics research,ancient prose characteristic research and salt merchants literati poems,war poems and TiHuaShi from salt merchants.
