Study On Jin Ge’s Korean Chinese Novels Of Theme Series

Since reform and opening policies were carried out in 1978,China’s comprehensive strength has been advancing significantly.Especially after the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between China and the Republic of Korea,communications between the two countries are becoming more frequent,which implies the approach of the period of commercialization and urbanization.A tremendous change has taken place in Korean Chinese life,and Korean Chinese people rushed to Korea to work for more money.This tide of going abroad can be called "nationality movement".However the following various problems made Korean Chinese society turbulent.Jin Ge is a writer,master of Korean Chinese novels of theme series,was told a lot about the stories of people who had worked in Korea and been deceived when he was employed as a reporter in Yanbian Daily newspaper,and he took the trouble to interview them.The writer fell into deep sorrow and determined to show what happened to them by way of his writing.Korean Chinese people who had gone to Korea to make money were not happy because they had to suffer from all kinds of insult and bully,and at the same time their families in China also faced painful problems such as divorce,education of children.Jin Ge’ s novel series are the ones that take Korean Chinese people’ s sufferings and pains as the theme.The thesis will study and analyze Korean Chinese novel of theme series.In chapter two,the trend of theme in Korean Chinese novel series are discussed,focusing on countryside,spousal relationship,and younger generations.In chapter three,artistic characteristics of Korean Chinese novels of theme series are explored.The flexible use of montage,symbols and dialects make the novels more artistic and energetic.In chapter four,conclusions are made based on the discussions mentioned above.The thesis revealed Korean Chinese society and people at that time that have been influenced by the tide of times.Jin Ge,writer of these novel series,is the hardcore writer who has been recognized and praised in Korean Chinese literature as a productive writer and "Crazy Reader".His works are well known for brand new things and diverse forms of expressions.The thesis is of significance not only to the study of Gin Ge’s novels,but to the study of Korean Chinese novels.
