Starting from the 1960 s to the mid-eighties,China’s animation is not only has a variety of species,but also in the production skills and the artistic of content have a high level,and it has affected the early Japanese animation.However,since the 1990 s,Chinese animation began to decline.In order to revitalize the Chinese animation,we need to think about the development of creative ideas rather than industrial areas.British Animation has been a leader in Europe,it received a lot of animation awards because of its charming artistic style and creative ideas.British Animation is usually full of rich British cultural characteristics and deep philosophical meditations,especially the production technology of stop-motion animation can be called the No.1 in the world.Invaluable,and we most worthy learn is British animation as reflected in the meticulous pursuit of technology and the calm of artsy.Firstly,this article make a simple comparison of the Sino-British animation development history and the basis of the animation creative concept-background.and also compare the natural and cultural background of China and the United Kingdom by analyzing the causes of natural and cultural background of the UK.Second,in the third chapter and the fourth chapter,this article describes some of the more prominent representatives of people and production facilities of Britain and Chinese animation,which can help us understand the different of artistic styles and creative ideas between the British and Chinese animation.Then this article make a more detailed analysis and comparison of the Sino-British animation art style and the basic concept of the creation respectively in the fifth article and the sixth chapter,and points out some problems of modern China’s animation movie on creative ideas that exist.Finally,this article make comparison of higher education and theoretical research between the British and Chinese animation,and explore the enlightenment of British Animation for China’s higher education in Chapter VII.Probably the framework of this paper is divided into horizontal and vertical two lines,horizontal line is the first analysis the basic elements of Sino-British animation-Creative background,and then make a comparison of animated art style(artistic)and ideas(ideology),Finally,analysis of the animation education,which affect the quality of the animation.Vertical line is a dark line,it introduces the development history of Sino-British animation and excellent animation films and their creators(production facility)in the context of the time,and analyzed the development direction of the two countries’ animated films,also pointed out some problems exist in China’s current animation.
