The Tragic Ideology Development Of Comedy Movies Since New Century

At the beginning of the new century,as the main way of mass entertainment,comedy movie which is an important form of genre films have been paid more and more attention to.As a kind of construction method of the comedy effect,tragedy consciousness becomes more and more obvious.With the rapid development of economic and political culture,by the dual impact of postmodern culture and the “amusing ourselves to death” phenomenon,comedy movies have taken great changes.The traditional comedy movies use praise,satire and farce as the way to achieve the goal of "using comic to amuse".But the diversified comedy in new century turns to be more and more black humor,the deconstruction of authority and the development trend of tragicomedy.Therefore,the simple analysis of the comedy in the film is not suitable for today's comedy films.Therefore,the article selects the method of "using tragic to amuse" as the main point,so as to better understand the creation mechanism of the new century comedy films.In this paper,the 53 research object are the comedy films in 2000 to the early 2017,which are representative and most widely recognized by the audience.The author implements both text analysis and content analysis.Based on the analysis of the development and content of the comedy films in the new century,the author draws a conclusion that the tragic consciousness has been the core of the comedy.According to the change of the political,economic and cultural context,the comedy movies in the new century can be divided into four stages.And the general features and characteristics of the tragic consciousness in each stage are explained.In this paper,the structural analysis of narrative is used to decode the text from the aspects of the theme,characters and situations of the text.And from the aesthetic point of view,according to Hagel's theory of comedy and the “carnival theory” of Bakhtin,it analyzes the psychological mechanism of the tragic consciousness in the comedy film.Based on the above analysis,the article discusses the shortcomings and defects of the present comedy movies,and puts forward the future development trend of comedy.The main problems that discussed in the paper are: The necessity of tragedy consciousness in the study of comedy films.How the tragic consciousness as a narrative method constructs in the comedy movies.How the mental mechanism engender in comedy movies.How the core of comedy spirit attract an audience's emotional identity.I hope that through the study of these issues,I can arouse the comedy film creators to further understand the content,and to change the situation as "meaningless and unpromising".
