The Influence Of Different Attachment Style In Various Emotional Experience On Attentional Bias Of Facial Expressions

In the process of socialization,an individual is able to face and deal with a variety of emotional information during the social communication in which attachment style not only plays a significant processing role but also influences the cognition representation such as perception bias,expectation and behavior attribution.Attachment style,also known as internal working mode,is a long and constant continuous and compact systematic emotional behavior mode which is firstly based on the attachment relationship between an individual and his raiser and then gradually formed with others.As the rising of studies on adult attachment style and emotional information process,many researchers pay more attention to the ways how different individuals adjust their emotion and behavior,ignoring the ways how individuals cognize and process the emotional information about attachment.Studies on the basic psychology process such as cognition processing on attention,memory,recognition and perception are still developing in attachment area.This study aims to discuss the attention deflection features as well as their internal systems that different attachment styles reflect to various emotional faces under different emotion modes.ECR,the widest attachment measure tool used currently,is adopted as an example partition standard.According to the marks made by the examples in attachment dodge and anxious attachment dimension,examples are divided into four kinds of attachment styles.C lue canonical form,at the same time,is used to study the attention deflection presented on emotional faces under different emotion activation experiences.To achieve this end,this study is go ing to put the following three experiments into practice.Experiment 1: The first experiment studied attention bias and its mechanism for different types of emotional images,While different type of attachment in a neutral emotional state,it was a mixed design includes three factors which are 4(attachment type)×3(emotion face type)×2(clue type).Attachment type is the between subjects variable,including four conditions safety,anxiety,avoidance and fear.Emotion face type is the within subjects variable,including positive emotion face,neutral emotion face and negative emotion face.Clue type is also a within subjects variable,including effective clue and invalid clue.Experiment 2 and 3 were conducted under the same experiment design and experiment task but use different emotions start materials to start the participant's state of positive emotions and negative emotional respectively.In order to study the attention deflection features as well as their internal systems of different attachment types of individuals towards to various emotional faces under the positive and negative emotional experience.The study results are presented as follows:(1)Individuals of safety attachment style don't show attention deviation under both positive and neutral emotional experience,however,while negative emotion activated,they show attention avoidance orientation towards it.(2)Individuals of fear attachment style show attention avoidance inclination towards positive emotion faces under the neutral emotion expe rience,and show attention alert inclination towards positive emotion faces while the positive emotion is activated.No attention inclination appears under the negative emotion situation.(3)Individuals of anxiety attachment style show attention avoidance inclination towards negative emotion faces under neutral emotion mode,and show attention alert features towards positive emotion faces while positive emotion is activated.Individuals of this style show attention preservation inclination towards both positive and negative emotion faces when negative emotion is activated.(4)Individuals of avoidance attachment style show attention avoidance inclination towards positive emotion faces under neutral emotion mode,and show no attention inclination towards three emotion faces while the positive emotion is activated.However,individuals of this style show attention preservation inclination towards positive emotion faces under the negative emotion situation.
