Study On The Color Preference And Attentional Processing Of College Students With Depression Vulnerability

Depression is one of the most common in the field of mental health with long-term mental illness,depressed mood,loss of interest,depression and other depressive symptoms depression as the main character,accompanied by insomnia,neurasthenia,weight loss and other physiological conditions of the influence of individual learning,life,work,interpersonal relationship etc..College students are in the transition period of youth and adult age,the psychology has not yet fully mature,but faced with social competition,postgraduate entrance examination,employment and so on a wide range of pressure,it is prone to depression.College students with depression is a kind of potential depression.People with depression are those who are less likely to be diagnosed with depression and may seem to be more likely than others to be depressed.People with depression are lack of the ability of self regulation to produce negative emotions,and long-term attention to negative information will enhance the depression of depression,The main research object of this study is the college students with depression.By using the method of investigation,behavioral experiment and eye movement experiment,this paper explores the characteristics of the group of college students with depression and depression in color preference and attention processing.In Experiment 1,according to the abstract color as material,study,using the method of paired comparison on College Students Depression susceptible and normal university students of color preference showed that: College Students' depression susceptible color preference order: blue,red,purple,green,yellow,orange.The color preference order of male depression is blue,red,purple,yellow,green and orange.The color preference of female depression is blue,red,green,purple,yellow and orange.Men's preference for red is higher than that of women,and women's preference for orange is higher than that of male.College students with depression were more sensitive to warm colors than those in the control group.The favorite color of contemporary college students is blue and red.In Experiment 2,positive and negative emotions were used as materials in the experiment,and the cue-target experiment was used to study the characteristics of attentional processing of college students with depression in the face of different emotional lexical stimuli.The results showed that: when the stimulus was positive words,there was no significant difference in the response between the depressed group and the control group,but there were significant differences when the stimulus material was negative.People with depression were more likely to respond than those without depression.The specific performance is invalid when the stimulus negative stimuli,depression susceptible group reaction time longer,shown to relieve the difficulty of negative stimulus attention;when the stimulus for negative effective stimulation,showing the negative information attention inhibition of return.In Experiment 3,using the words of different parts of speech and color as the experimental materials,the eye movement study was used to explore the characteristics of eye movement in the process of attention processing.The experimental results show that the selective attention of college students with depression and depression will receive the dual effects of color and part of speech.For the first time at the time dimension,the color blue significant main effect,can cause the most susceptible depression of College Students' attention,yellow more difficult to attract attention;the number of fixations on the dimensions of vocabulary,a significant main effect,depression susceptible to negative words at more times,the color of the number of fixation effect is not obvious the total fixation time;the dimension of speech,a significant main effect significant main effect,color.The total fixation time of the negative words was longer than that of the positive words.The total fixation time was the shortest and the processing time was the fastest.In addition,the color can also interact with the part of speech,red can improve the efficiency of the college students with depression and anxiety,and the processing speed of the negative words is significantly slower than that of other color words.
