"Parent-child relationship" first appeared in the genetics,which is the earliest relationship after the birth of a human.Parent-child relationship to blood relationship as a link,which plays a relatively crucial role in the psychological development of the individual and the development of good personality quality.Junior high school students are in the period of physical and mental changes,so it has a great significance to explore the relationship between parent-child relationship and mental health and the establishment of good parent-child relationship also has significance.In this study,a middle school in a county in Shijiazhuang City,Hebei Province,was sampled from the first to the third grade using a stratified random sampling method.A total of 418 students were randomly selected from each class as a research object.Using the "Parents' influence and the awareness of parents" parent-child relationship questionnaire,Chinese Middle School Students' Mental Health Scale and self-esteem scale as the research tools,using self-esteem as a mediator variable to explore the relationship between parent-child relationship and psychology,meanwhile explains the mechanism of parent-child relationship on mental health.The following results are obtained:(1)This study shows that the overall state of the parent-child relationship is better.In the parent-child relationship scale,the factor "yes to parents" was significantly different in gender(t =-2.457,P <0.05),among them,girls scored higher in this dimension than boys.The difference in grade is significant(F(2,417)= 2.489,P <0.1),and the scores were in the order of the second,third,and first.(2)This study shows that the level of self-esteem is generally higher.There was no significant difference in grade and gender between self-esteem of junior high school students.(F(2,417)= 1.717,P> 0.05;t = 1.417,P> 0.05).(3)This study shows that the level of mental health of the subjects as a whole is good,from different dimensions,in terms of obsessive-compulsive symptoms,anxiety,learning stress and emotional instability,the score is high(M ? 2).There was no significant difference in sex(t =-1.212,P> 0.05).Junior high school students mental health of various dimensions and mental health of the total score in the grade difference is very significant(F(2,417)= 6.767).(4)The correlation analysis between parent-child relationship and mental health shows that the "parental support" from the parent-child relationship and the mental health of the various factors and mental health of the total score,parent-child relationship "from the parents of life The mental and health effects of the rest of the factors and the relationship between the other factors are related to the psychological relationship between the other factors There is a significant correlation.(5)The correlation analysis between self-esteem and parent-child relationship shows that the relationship of three dimensions of parent-child relationship and self-esteem is a very significant negative correlation,such as "outlook of life from parents,way of thinking","thanks to parents" and "parents as a model of life".There is a very significant negative correlation between self-esteem and "mental depression from parents".Parents of the child's mental depression the greater the more conducive to the development and formation of children's self-esteem.(6)The results of correlation analysis between self-esteem level and mental health score and dimension of mental health showed that there was a significant negative correlation between self-esteem level and mental health score and different dimensions.(7)The return of mental health to parent-child relationship shows:,"Mental depression from parents" and "parents as a model of life" these two factors on the level of mental health is extremely significant(F(1,415)=12.573,P<0.001).(8)The results of self-esteem as the intermediary show that the "direct support from parents" has no significant and indirect effect on the mental health of junior high school students;"the influence of parents' outlook on life and the way of thinking",The positive effect of the two factors on mental health is not significant,and there is only between the mental health through the self-esteem intermediary effect,that is,complete intermediary;"from the parents of the spirit of independence," this factor does not exist by the self-esteem,There is only a direct effect on the mediating effect of mental health.The direct effect and indirect effect of dimension "mental depression from parents" and "parents as life model" have significant effect on mental health,and the effect of self-esteem on mental health is significant,The central effect of self-esteem on mental health was 13.2% and 23.5% of the total effect,respectively.Concluded as follow:(1)Junior high school students in this group of parent-child relationship in good condition.Male and female students in the degree of gratitude to the parents,there are differences.The boy is not good at getting grateful to his parents.At the grade level,the development of parent-child relationship is basically stable,there is no large ups and downs.(2)The self-esteem of junior high school students in good condition,in which the male self-esteem slightly higher than the girls,with the grade of self-esteem showed a slight decline in the trend.(3)From the overall situation of junior high school students mental health is good,from all aspects of mental health,students in mandatory symptoms,anxiety,learning pressure and emotional instability these areas,there are mild mental health problems.Junior high school boys and girls mental health status is roughly the same.Junior high school students health level of this group with the grade gradually increased and showed a downward trend.(4)The level of self-esteem of junior high school students has a certain degree of connection with their mental health level.The higher the level of self-esteem of junior high school students,the higher the health level of the higher psychological.(5)The level of self-esteem of junior high school students is related to parent-child relationship.Parents' outlook on life,way of thinking,gratitude to parents,and parental role models are closely related to self-esteem.Parents' mental repression of the child is also associated with the child's self-esteem.(6)There is a certain relationship between parent-child relationship and mental health of junior high school students.The higher the score of parent-child relationship,the better the mental health of junior high school students.(7)From the spiritual support of the parents "on the mental health is basically no effect;"The impact of life from the parents,the way of thinking" and "the parents of the" these two factors through self-esteem on the psychological health have a certain impact,but its direct impact on mental health is not obvious;"The spirit of depression from parents" and "parents as a model of life," these two factors on the direct impact of mental health significantly,but also through self-esteem on the psychological health of indirect effects.
