In recent years,smartphone addiction of adolescents has become a hot researching field of non-substance addiction,which is closely related with young students’ life.At present,there are still substantial limitations between the parent-child relationship,self-esteem and smartphone addiction,which plays a significant role in and defining the practical and theoretical relationship between the three.The study explored the investigation of self-esteem,parent-child relationship and smartphone addiction among the youngsters,to grope for the internal mechanism of parent-child relationship leads to smartphone addiction,providing a theoretical basis for the intervention of adolescents’smartphone addiction.This research adopts《Smartphone Addiction Scales For College Students》、《Parent-child affinity scale》、《the self-esteem scale》as a research tool to carry on questionnaire investigation to the1200 students at the three junior middle schools in Jing Zhou,a city of Hubei Province,and obtained 1160 valid samples.SPSS21.0 softwarewas used for the data analysis,the results show that smartphone addiction among young people are more optimistic.The conclusions are as following:(1)teenagers’ smartphone addiction has not reached the degree of addiction.(2)there are significant differences in the sex of adolescents’ smartphone addiction,and there are significant differences in the relationship between self-esteem and parent-child relationship in grade.(3)self-esteem mediate between parent-child relationship and adolescent smartphone addiction.
