The Semantic Types Of Object In Predicate-object Structure In The Bamboo Stips Of The Qin Tomb At Shuihudi

The bamboo stips of the Qin Tomb at Shuihudi,Yunmeng,Huibei province,excavated in the last century.The main content of them including law and rishu,which are researched by lots of scholars,from which we can see the extensive attention they have attracted since its discovery.And due to the authenticity and reliability of the content,which primarily consists of short sentences with colorful colloquialism,they are the excellent material for study.As a result,the language studies of them emerge one after aother,containing grammar and vocabulary.The paper chiefly about the grammatical and semantic study of the texts,by sorting and summarizing the data of predicate-object structure.From this study,we can see the peculiarity and changes of Shuihudi Qin mu zhu jian.The paper could be divided into five parts:The first part is introduction,discussing the reason and significance of choosing this topic,as well as the overview of former research.Moreover,as there are different standard in dividing semantic types of objects,we will give a criterion here.And for the speciality of the unearthed texts,a explaination of the choosing of the language data will also be given.The second part is the classification and description of the semantic types of single object,which comprised seventeen types.The most common one is patient object.The third part is the classification of double object,which consists six types.The fourth part is the discussion of special sentence pattern.They are predicate and pivotal sentences,from which we can see that the syntactic structures are basically the same in modern Chinese.The last part of this paper is conclusion.Firstly,we simply described the basic features of semantic types of objects at the bamboo strips of Shuihudi.Secondly from the comparison of the bamboo strips of Shuihudi and other books,we can see the the distinctions between them and the reason.Finally we also depicted the differences ofdouble object between the bamboo strips of Shuihudi and modern Chinese.
