Interpersonal trust is one of the most common and basic relationships in society,especially the common interpersonal trust between unfamiliar individuals,affecting the overall social harmony.Individual interpersonal trust is influenced by both self-level and social dimension.Self-level includes cognition,emotion and personality traits,and so on.Social level includes cultural factors.There is also an individual's ego-depletion on the self-control and self-control.When the individual continues to carry on the subjective activity,the self-control resource's continuous loss causes the individual to be temporarily in the control ability to reduce the state.This state is theoretically Analysis may have an impact on the interpersonal trust of the individual,but what impact does there be a lack of relevant research.At present,there are many studies on ego-depletion and interpersonal trust.This study further explores the influence of ego-depletion on interpersonal trust by trusting paradigm.On the basis of a large number of literature reviews,two experiments were designed to study the impact of self-loss on interpersonal trust from different levels and different types.Experiment 1 used a hybrid experiment design 2(ego-depletion level: high depletion level vs low depletion level)x2(gender: male vs female)x2(role location: trustee role vs trusted person role).The independent variables were ego-depletion level,gender and role position,and the dependent variable was the fraction of trust game.The subjects were 18-25 year old college students(average 22.5).Experiment 2 used a mixed experiment design,3(ego-depletion type: thinking control vs mood suppression vs attention control)x2(gender: male vs female)x2(role position: trustee vs trusted person).Where the independent variables were ego-depletion type,gender and role position,and the dependent variable was the trust score in the trust game.Subjects were 18-25 year old college students(average 21.6).After the experimental study and SPSS data analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)ego-depletion significantly affect interpersonal trust;(2)The main effect of the different levels of ego-depletion and the influence of different types on interpersonal trust was significant,and the level of ego-depletion was proportional to the trust of the gift,which was inversely proportional to the feedback trust.The influence degree of different types of ego-depletion on gift trust was Thinking control type,Emotional suppression type and Attention control type,different types of egodepletion on the degree of feedback on the degree of feedback,for men followed by attention control type,emotional suppression and thinking control type,for women,followed by attention control,thinking control And emotional suppression;(3)the interaction between ego-depletion level and gender was significant,and the interaction between ego-depletion type and gender was significant;(4)The interaction between ego-depletion level and role position was significant,and the interaction between male's ego-depletion type and role position was significant.(5)the high ego-depletion level of gender and role position interaction significantly.
