A Report On The Translation Of Marketing News

As the world enters an international era of information,news report is no longer confined to the domestic.The rapid development of Internet has brought great convenience for the spread of information.In comparison with other types of news,English marketing news possesses its peculiar language features.Network news in its unique way has become an important tool for readers to understand the world quickly and comprehensively.In order to satisfy people's needs,news translation is particularly important.On the one hand,the rapid development of the media is giving rise to an urgent demand for a large amount of news translation.On the other hand,the lack of the teaching and popularization of news translation methods restricts the development of news translation.The purpose of this paper is to explore the translation strategies and tactics of dealing with marketing news.At the beginning,the author introduces the background of the project,the process of undertaking and its significance.Then,the stylistic features of marketing news language and those of discourse analysis are discussed and interpreted.With the help of the case analysis,the thesis aims at solving such problems as how to identify topics for the target texts,how to handle headlines of the source texts and how to accurately translate the marketing terminology,presenting the general requirement of textual layout and news translation technique.Finally,the author arrives at the conclusion that from the perspective of the discourse organization,title and sentence level,we should try our utmost to accurately understand the information of the article,grasp the focus of the argument,and try to be reader-oriented to translate higher quality articles.
