A Comparative Study On The Artistic Images In The Pajie Geser And Khorchin Python Guth

Mongolian traditional heroic epic Pajie Geser and Khorchin Python Guth have been popular among the Khorchins.Both of the two works are similar in many places such as the contents and the cultural connotations,while there are typical features of their own,which made this comparative study possible.This dissertation has made a lot of efforts to sum up the similarities and unique features of the images of the both works through field investigation and comparison of the heroic images,the artistic images of python guths and fine horses on the basis of the former study.It is formed of three parts as the introduction,the main body and the conclusion.The research status,the purpose of the dissertation and the methods used in the dissertation etc.are introduced in the introduction.The main body of this dissertation is arranged in three chapters following:Chapter one,the commonness and differences of the heroes of the two works are compared;Chapter two,the appearances and categories of the python guths of the two works are compared to date back to their origins;Chapter three,the personification and magics of the fine horses of the two works are compared to prove the mutual influences.The whole dissertation is sumarized in the conclusion.
