Deng Yiguang appeared as a dark horse in literary circle in the 1990s.Many of his works based on Chinese modern revolutionary wars are with great personal characteristics,and thus give rise to the fashion of writing "new revolutionary history novels".In 2010,Deng moved to Shenzhen,which provided him with unique reflection and perspective and thus produced a series of refreshing urban literature.This paper will discuss novels of Deng from the perspectives of his two core writing themes.First,this paper will emphatically analyze the remodeling of the "hero" in his new revolutionary historical novels and writer's literary view and reflection behind that.On this ground,this paper will probe into his impact on "new revolutionary history novels".Second,the paper will discuss the influence of Calvino to Deng.With this breakthrough point,the key topics of Deng's urban literature will be discussed.Last but not the least,this paper will find the constant theme and aesthetic style in Deng's novels and outline the writer's unique writing style.
