Athletes' spatial and temporal perception is the core of athletes' specialized perception,so athletes' spatio-temporal perception is the focus of sports psychology.Research has shown that emotion and alertness play an important role in individual spatial and temporal perception.This study investigated the effects of emotion and emotion regulation strategies on Athletes' time perception and spatial perception at different vigilance levels.It can provide scientific reference and empirical basis for athletes' psychological selection and training of temporal and spatial perception,improving athletes' specialized perception ability and guiding athletes' emotion regulation and control.The study was divided into four parts:Part1 of the study was to test the applicability of attention network test in athletes' groups.The study participants were 56 athletes;The results showed that attention,orientation and executive control were not significantly related to the three network functions,It shows that athletes' samples are consistent with the sample of ordinary people,which suggests that network testing has good applicability in athletes' groups.Part2 of the study was to investigate the differences in time perception and spatial perception between athletes and general college students through the study paradigm of spatio-temporal perception.16 athletes and 19 regular college students participated in the study.The results showed:(1)The athletes were more accurate than ordinary college students in time estimation,and there is no significant difference in overestimation and underestimation of time orientation.(2)The athletes have faster perception of spatial perception than normal students,and there is no significant difference in the accuracy of spatial location.Part3 of the study was to investigate the effects of different emotional states and different emotion regulation strategies on the time perception of athletes with different vigilance levels through the temporal perception paradigm,256 athletes participated in the experiment.The results showed:(1)The athletes with high vigilance level have higher time estimation accuracy than low alert athletes and tend to overestimate time.(2)Low vigilance level athletes in the emotional state of anger than happy mood tend to underestimate the time,and there is no significant difference in time estimation accuracy;High vigilance level athletes in anger and happy mood state does not exist significant differences.(3)Under different emotional states,the influence of different emotion regulation strategies on the time perception of athletes with different vigilance levels was not significant.Part4 of the study was to investigate the effects of different emotional states and different emotion regulation strategies on spatial perception of athletes with different vigilance levels through the spatial perception paradigm,256 athletes participated in the experiment.The results showed:(1)High vigilance level athletes with spatial perception is much faster than the low vigilance level of athletes,space position with high accuracy;In the state of anger,the accuracy of the spatial location of the athletes with high alertness was lower than that of the happy mood.(2)In a state of anger,the spatial response of the athletes using the strategy of cognitive reappraisal was faster than that of the inhibitory and control groups,there is no significant difference in the accuracy of spatial location judgment,in the happy state,and there is no significant difference in spatial perception characters with different emotion regulation strategies.(3)The spatial perception reaction rate of cognitive reappraisal and expression suppression strategy of high alert level athletes faster than the control group,the spatial position accuracy of no significant difference;The spatial cognitive response rate of the low alert athletes using cognitive reappraisal strategy was faster than that of the inhibitory and control groups,and there was no significant difference in the accuracy of the spatial location judgment.The conclusions were as follows:(1)The attention network test has good applicability in athletes' groups.(2)Athletes showed a certain spatial and temporal perceptual response advantage over those of college students.(3)Vigilance has a significant influence on athletes' time perception,athlete's vigilance level is higher,the more obvious advantages of time perception reaction;Low alertness athletes tend to underestimate their time in anger.(4)Vigilance has a significant influence on athletes' spatial perception,athlete's vigilance level is higher,the more obvious advantages of space perception reaction;space to determine the location of vigilance level athletes who are more accurate more easily affected by emotion strategy;Effect of emotion regulation strategies on different alert level athletes spatial perception characteristics exist significant differences,in the regulation of anger emotional state of the athletes in the space perception reaction speed,cognitive reappraisal is better than expression suppression.
