A Study Of The “???” Of Modern Chinese Discourse Markers

Based on the previous studies,this paper makes a case study on the translation of Chinese discourse markers “???” in the Uighur language.First of all,analyze the same kind of “???” in Chinese to determine the nature and characteristics of the discourse markers that is “???”.On the basis of this,the article analyzes the translation of discourse markers “???” from three aspects by examining corpus.From the distribution point of view,“???” can be located in the first sentence,the middle of the sentence and end of the sentence,the distribution of different locations,the role will be different and the performance is also different in the Uygur language.From the perspective of semantic types,there are two types of "discursive" and "progressive" discourse markers in modern Chinese,and different types of semantics are also reflected in Uighur translation.From the perspective of pragmatic function,modern Chinese “ ? ? ? ” has the function of discourse cohesion(Mainly for that additional,inference,explanation,turning,conditions)and topic organization(Mainly to summarize the topic,the end of the topic,transfer topics and expand the topic),and the differences of these functions are also different in Uighur translation.
