Application Of Electone In Musical Education

Since the end of 1980 s,China has been promoting "education for all-round development",which encourages the principle of "putting people first",emphasizes the cultivation of moral character and capabilities,demands the all-round development of students and focuses on the strengthening of exchange and communication among students.Nowadays,education for all-round development has become a fundamental national policy and it must become the center of all education reforms.As a key component of education for all-round development,music education is an indispensable link in the cultivation of students' disposition and moral character.Every music educator needs to think about how to make music education more diversified and vivid,innovative and quality-oriented.As a post-graduate major in the education and performance of electone,the author has been wondering and exploring how to give full play to the strong function of electone in music education.Electone has rich and vivid tone and wide range,making it an inspiring and creative tool that can develop intelligence,improve body coordination,enhance students' cooperation spirit and music perception,mould character and shape personality.Although electone's strong function and creativity as well as its charming music performance has gradually grown well-known and popular,its application in music education is not broad and most existing papers on electone focus on “composition” and “performance”.Among the papers on“education”,only a few focus on general introduction on its application methods while the majority discusses the combination of electone with musical instruments or vocal music.Therefore,this paper takes application of electone in music education as a starting point followed by an introduction on electone,and studies the use value and educational advantages of electone combined with practical examples that illustrate the possible methods for its application in music education under education for all-round development and higher education for music majors with a view to provide some references for electone's application in music education.The author believes that if electone can be widely applied in music education,it will offer more new mindsets for education for all-round development and higher education for music majors,provide more innovative support to students and bring more education convenience to teachers.
