Zoltán Kodály is a famous Hungarian composer, national music theorist and musiceducationist in20th centry. Kodály pedagogy is one of the most important musiceducational systems in the current world. It has improved the music conception andlevel of Hungarian, and showed great power of music education for the world.Nowadays, it has been popularized all over the world. Kodály education system wastransferred to music education of China in1980s. It pays great attention to study ofnational music and experience of aesthetical emotion, and tonic solfa method, korvingesture, Rhythm pronunciation and alphabetic notation were adopted as main teachingmethods. Moreover, it takes “music belongs to everyone” as the soul of music education,and has brought new methods for the development of basic music education in China.It should be a worth thinking problem that how to make Kodály education systembe more suitable for China and how to develop it current directory. At the present time,Kodály education system is widely adopted in elementary and secondary school, whilehasn’t been used in higher education. In recent years, with the foundation of some largepublic kindergartens, the supply of nursery teachers is inadequate to meet the demand.As a result, the School of Infant Education has been in overload state. The educationfacilities, teachers and teaching methods can’t meet the requirement of more and morestudents. The demand for education facilities is not high in Kodály education system,and the relevant education concepts such as stressing singing teaching and usingnational music can solve the urgent problem in the school of infant education. In thisproject, the connections between Kodály system and music teaching in the school ofinfant education was studied, some application schemes were proposed, and someexamples of Kodály system applied in music teaching were detailedly presented. Someinfant teachers were interviewed by conversation and questionnaire. Besides, the authorvisited Jinan Preschool Education College, Shandong Wendeng Normal School andRushan Preschool Education School, in order to analyze the present situation in musiceducation.The author finds that early music education is very important, by studying theKodály education system thoroughly. Besides, the quality of early music educationteachers has great influence on the music level of children. In China, preschooleducation colleges are the base to training early music education teachers. In order tobroaden the application of Kodály education system in music education in China, thetraditional teaching model in preschool education college should be changed, and the integration of Kodály education system and revolution in college education should bepaid more attention. This study could improve the innovation and development ofpreschool music education, and has great significance to meet the requirement of earlymusic education.
