Doppler Albert Franz(1821-1883)was a Hungarian flute composer and performer in the Romantic Period.His musical creation not only had distinct national styles but also abounded with romantic colors.The flute work “Airs Valaques” was rich in Hungarian national music style.Compared with other works,it could better “highlight the unique timbre of flute and the diversity of performance techniques.This thesis,consisting of 4 chapters,would discuss the performance techniques and musical style of this flute work “Airs Valaques”.
