Johann Sebastian Bach's six unaccompanied violin sonatas and partitas are regarded as the touchstone for every violin player in term of the technique and musical feeling. There are plenty of treatises about Bach and his work, most of which discussed from the perspective of composers and performance practice for violinists.This paper focuses on the first sonata: sonata for violin solo in g minor. It reviews and analyses this sonata again in a new angle. The paper demonstrates from the judgment of the tempo, the articulation, the discipline of ornamentations and the dynamic. In addition, it combines the writer's learning and practical experience with them in order to provide some valuable evidences to violin players. |
