As an important concept in the development of adolescent psychological and social,Ego Identity has been studied widely.More and more attention has been paid to the Ego Identity of middle school students.On the basis of this,this research makes a Meta-analysis on Ego Identity of middle school students.Meanwhile,the research at home and abroad shows that the environment and individual internal are important factors affecting the development of Ego Identity.Therefore,the research further explores the relationship between Ego Identity,Parental Attachment and Emotion Regulation.In these researches,through the method of Meta-analysis,combined with the method of questionnaire survey,12 independent researches and 425 adolescents students were selected as subjects.This paper analyzes and discusses the characteristics of Ego Identity of middle school students and its relationship with Parental Attachment and Emotion Regulation.The research findings:(1)In the research of Meta-analysis,we find that there are significant gender differences in Ego Identity of middle school students.In addition to the ideological achievement status,the girls are higher than boys,the other statuses are boys than girls.(2)In the research of the relationship between Ego Identity,Parental Attachment and Emotion Regulation,it is found that there is a significant gender difference in Ego identity of middle school students,and there is no significant difference in grade.(3)In the trend of the development of Ego Identity,there is no significant difference in the proportion of the gender.The distribution of the four types of Identity in different grades,whether in the ideological domain,in the field of interpersonal relationships or on the whole,is similar to that of the population.The proportion of individuals with the moratorium is the highest,which is 55%~75%,followed by the diffusion,the lowest is the foreclosure and the achievement.At the same time,there is a significant difference in the proportion of each statuses in grade.(4)In the research of the relationship between Ego Identity,Parental Attachment andEmotion Regulation,we found that there was a significant positive correlation between three of them.Further research found that Parental Attachment and Emotional Regulation significantly affect Ego Identity.(5)There exists mediated effect of Emotion Regulation between Parental Attachment and Ego Identity among the middle school students.Parental attachment can not only directly affect the Ego Identity,but also affect the Ego Identity through Emotional Regulation.
